Ares Marine

Ares Marine was founded in early 2016 in Tuzla, Istanbul - the heart of Turkish Shipbuilding Industry - in order to serve maritime and shipbuilding industries in the region. Founders have a proven track record in market starting from late 80s, especially for the cargo control/monitoring, instrumentation, navigation and miscellaneous marine electronics which provide value addition to the yards and ship owners.

Ares Marine is in cooperation with the innovative players in global marine business, which bring proven quality and new technology to the local market with a rationalized pricing strategy and strong aftermarket support throughout the product lifecycle. In December 2016, Ares Marine has entered into a merger agreement with Ormar Ltd. in order to further strengthen the position in the market. The combined companies will go forward together under the name Ares Marine Ltd.

Ormar Ltd. was established in 1988 and operated in marine industry successfully until the merger thanks to its reliable services & solutions and strong connections to shipyards, shipowners, makers and global suppliers. Combining these two companies provides customers of both organizations with an extensive portfolio of technical services and a globally recognized portfolio of marine products. Both companies have considerable talent and experience in all areas of the marine and ship building industry and going forward our products and expanded crew will allow us to better serve you.
