Job Description

 

  • Servicing, troubleshooting and commissioning of various advanced marine automation & instrumentation systems onboard  (Visit our products and services for more information) 

  • Providing technical training and technical presentation to client and inter-company

  • Delivering remote technical support to existing and new clients by email and phone

  • Supporting the sales team in technical meetings and onboard survey activities 

 

Required Skills

 

Essential:

  • Awareness and full compliance in safety and environmental regulations

  • BS or 2-year technical degree in Electrics, Electronics or relevant discipline

  • Solid knowledge in MS Windows, MS Office and basic networking applications

  • Fluent communication in English and Turkish, both verbal and written

  • Ability to follow and understand technical documentation and drawings

  • Able and willing to travel (mostly international) throughout the year (min 40%)

  • Willing to work irregular hours

  • Problem-solving, troubleshooting, analytical skills

  • Eligible to work in Turkey

  • Active driver in Turkey and able to drive during travelling abroad

  • Good team player, practical and highly adaptable

  • Able to work under minimum supervision

Desired:

  • Competence in instrumentation, automation, hydraulics and pneumatics

  • Able to lead installation teams & train and brief customers / operators

  • Work and decide under time pressure (stress & time management)

  • Thorough, self-motivated and confident in social interactions
